A radio-tracer method was used to determine self-diffusivities in bulk Cd0.74Mn0.26Te, at temperatures of between 450 and 800C, under saturated Cd and Te over-pressures (tables 3 and 4). The self-diffusivities were also measured in Cd0.68Mn0.32Te at 550C. In saturated Cd ambients, the diffusivities of Cd and Mn required the same activation energy (2.12eV), and pre-exponential factors of 1.10 and 1.38, respectively. Under saturated Te ambients, the activation energies for Cd and Mn diffusion were again equal (2.16eV), and the pre-exponential factors were 1.36 and 1.62, respectively.
