Samples of p-type material with a grain size of 0.1mm were made into couples with CdTe, and the Cd penetration was determined at 600 to 850C by using sectioning and electron microprobe techniques. It was found that the data could be described by:

D(m2/s) = 2.9 x 10-2exp[-2.3(eV)/kT]
