For the first time, grain boundary diffusion of a solute was measured in a single grain boundary in the C kinetic regime after common Harrison’s classification. The radiotracer technique was used to determine the 110mAg diffusion coefficients in Cu Σ5 (310)[001] bicrystal along and perpendicular to the [001] misorientation axis. The anisotropy of grain boundary diffusion increased slightly with decreasing temperature. However, it remains moderate, within a factor of two to three for the temperature interval studied.
