The stress field, interaction energy and image force of a screw dislocation near to a circular second-phase particle in a matrix were investigated analytically in terms of non-local elasticity. The non-local surface residual on the interface between the second particle and the matrix, due to interaction of the second-phase particle and the screw dislocation, was then obtained. All classical singularities for stress, interaction energy and image force were eliminated.
