The elastic field of a dislocation in a general anisotropic strip was analyzed by using the Stroh formalism for anisotropic elasticity; together with Fourier transforms. The surfaces of the strip were considered to be either free or fixed. The image force on an edge dislocation in W or K was calculated as a function of the position of the dislocation and the inclination of the slip planes. The interactive forces between two like dislocations on the same slip plane were also calculated.
