A Raman scattering study of ro-vibrational transitions Q(J) of the interstitial H2 in Si was presented. It was shown that the Q(2) mode of para hydrogen was coupled to the TAX phonon of Si. The mode appeared in the spectra at above 200 K. The results presented also suggested that the Q(3) transition of ortho hydrogen was resonantly coupled to the phonon.
