The diffusive behavior of 123Te was studied at 500 to 900C. The results depended upon the component partial pressures, and could be described by:

PCd, max = PCd,saturation:     D (cm2/s) = 1.66 x 10-4 exp[-1.38(eV)/kT]

PCd, min = PTe,saturation:     D (cm2/s) = 8.54 x 10-7 exp[-1.42(eV)/kT]

The best linear fits to the solute diffusion data ([26] to [45]) yield:

Cu: Ln[Do] = 0.21E – 14.3 (R2 = 0.06); Hg: Ln[Do] = E – 38.8 (R2 = 0.98);

In: Ln[Do] = 0.40E – 16.9 (R2 = 0.91); Na: Ln[Do] = 0.67E – 18.1 (R2 = 0.99)
