A simple and efficient algorithm for inducing anomalous self-diffusion in single-file fluids with molecular dynamics simulation was introduced. Such a method could be useful and complement existing techniques. It was shown that particle-wall collision with occasional longitudinal momentum reversal was a possible physical mechanism for allowing random forces into the system of confined fluids.
