The diffusivity was measured by using a technique which was based upon resonance capture in the reaction 18O(p,α)15N. It was found that the data at 950 to 1400C, under a partial O pressure of 700mm of Hg, could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 1.7 x 10-2exp[-66(kcal/mol)/RT]
