ZnO nanoparticles were conformally covered on the surfaces of ZnO nanowires with high diffusion coefficient (1.2 x 10-2cm2/s) to make a composite photo-anode. By using N719 to sensitize the composite photo-anode, the conversion efficiency could reach 7.14%.
