Reflectivities in the energy range between 0.05 and 40eV at 300K were studied on plate-like single crystals prepared, using the solution method, from aluminium. The optical constants were derived by means of Kramers-Kronig analysis. The data obtained were compared with the results of band structure calculations, and the observed optical transitions were interpreted.
