An investigation was made of the diffusion of electrolytic H through electrodeposited (acid sulfate-borate bath) 1.1μ-thick β-Co. The diffusivity at 50C was equal to 2.41 x 10-10cm2/s and equal to 1.22 x 10-10 cm2/s at 30C. These results indicated an activation energy of 7.0kcal/g-atom.
