The diffusivity was measured by using a capillary method. The diffusion coefficient, at temperatures ranging from 640 to 1000K, could be explained in terms of the Stokes-Einstein theory, and was described by:

D (cm2/s) = 8.56 x 10-8T(K)/v(cP)

where v was the viscosity of Li.
