The pressure and lattice parameter dependences of H diffusion in NbH0.033 at 297.6K were investigated by means of neutron spectroscopy. A pressure of 5kbar, which reduced the lattice parameter by 0.1%, increased the diffusivity by 1.5% (table 92). Theoretical calculations predicted the occurrence of an appreciable pressure-induced decrease in diffusivity at temperatures below about 200K.
