On the basis of measurements made at 200 to 320K, the jump frequency of H atoms in PdH0.76 was found to be described by:

f (/s) = 5.4 x 1012 exp[-0.230(eV)/kT]

The H atoms in this face-centered cubic phase occupied octahedral sites, and the H atom self-diffusion coefficient was deduced to be given by:

 

D (cm2/s) = 3.7 x 10-4 exp[-0.230(eV)/kT].
