It was shown that permeation through the walls of Pd-5.9wt%Ni alloy tubes, under a gradient-less pressure of H, was directly proportional to the difference between the square roots of the partial pressures of H at the entrance and at exit of the tube. The data, for temperatures of 113 to 306C, could be described by:
