An electrochemical technique was used to study H diffusion in various Pd-Rh alloys (table 153). At small H contents, the diffusion parameters were independent of the H concentration. The presence of small amounts of Rh led to a decrease in the diffusion coefficients. This decrease was attributed to an increase in the activation energy for the diffusion of interstitial H in these alloys.
