Specimens which were 3mm in diameter and 5cm long were loaded with H. Changes in H concentration, due to the application of weak electric fields (0 to 0.020V/cm) were determined by quenching into liquid N, sectioning, and analyzing the sections for their H content. The electrotransport at 20C could be described by the charge and mobility parameters, Z* = 46e and m = 0.001cm2/Vs. The diffusivity, at 0 to 150C, could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 1.7 x 10-3 exp[-4.8(kcal/mol)/RT]
