A study was made of the diffusion of H in Ti-2%Al and Ti-2.5%Zr alloys, by using diffusion couples which contained 0.03 and 0.003%H, respectively. Analysis of the H concentration profiles was performed, after diffusion annealing, by means of sectioning and spectral analysis. At temperatures ranging from 350 to 800C, the H diffusivity in both alloys could be approximated by:
