A field-theory description was developed for the static and dynamic critical behaviours of systems which contained quenched defects that obeyed power-law correlations of the form, x-α, for large x. A direct renormalization analysis was carried out, for the scaling functions of the 2-loop approximation, for 3-dimensional systems and for α-values ranging from 2 to 3. The fixed points which corresponded to the stability of various types of critical behavior were identified. The results differed from those found using a double expansion. Static and dynamic critical exponents in the 2-loop approximation were calculated by using the Padé-Borel summation technique.
