High-resolution quasi-elastic neutron scattering was used to study H diffusion in the multi-component Laves phase hydride, Ti0.8Zr0.2CrMnH3. Multiple scattering led to false line-broadening at small momentum transfers, and hindered the determination of the diffusion coefficients. It was found that diffusion between 230 and 360K could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 3 x 10-4 exp[-0.22(eV)/kT]
