The diffusive behavior of Ni was studied in 5N-purity material at 990 to 1220C. The results could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 2.63 x 10-3 exp[-7.3(kcal/mol)/RT]

The best linear fits to the solute diffusion data ([473] to [487], [517] to [528]) yield:

Ag: Ln[Do] = 0.33E – 15.5 (R2 = 0.73); O: Ln[Do] = 0.69E – 13.2 (R2 = 0.998);

O(l): Ln[Do] = 0.42E – 9.4 (R2 = 0.98)
