A study was made of isothermal gas release from single crystals which had been irradiated to a neutron dose (E ≥ 10keV) of 5.8 x 1015/cm2. The data for Ar diffusion in β-Cs0.99K0.1Cl, at temperatures ranging from 370 to 600C, could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 8 x 10-4 exp[-0.25(eV)/kT]
