A study was made of isothermal gas release from single crystals which had been irradiated to a neutron dose (E ≥ 10keV) of 5.8 x 1015/cm2. The data for Xe diffusion in α-Cs0.98Rb0.2Cl, at temperatures ranging from 370 to 600C, could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 20 exp[-1.2(eV)/kT]
