The diffusion coefficients were measured (table 54) at temperatures of between 450 and 750C, by using a capillary method. It was assumed that, in the vicinity of the melting point, the melt was composed mainly of disordered Cu+ ions and Cl- ions which were localized on the sites of a well-defined sub-lattice.
