Chronopotentiometric measurements, involving a Pt indicator and a Pt reference electrode, were used to study the diffusion of Cu+ ions in the melt. The diffusivity of CuI was equal to 2.14 x 10-5cm2/s at 815C. Chronopotentiometry of Copper(I), Silver(I) and Gold(I) Ions in Molten KCl.
