By using the serial sectioning technique, the diffusion coefficients for carrier-free 54Mn in pure halide single crystals were measured in the intrinsic conductivity region as a function of temperature. The data, for temperatures ranging from 880 to 1020K, could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 0.71 exp[-1.508(eV)/kT]
