Impedance measurements and chronopotentiometry methods were used to investigate the diffusion of Cd2+ in the melt. The impedance technique yielded a diffusivity of 1.40 x 10-5cm2/s at 450C and an activation energy of 6.6kcal/mol. The chronopotentiometric technique yielded corresponding figures of 1.35 x 10-5cm2/s and 6.3kcal/mol.
