Impedance measurements and chronopotentiometry methods were used to investigate the diffusion of Pb2+ in the melt. The impedance technique yielded a diffusivity of 9.3 x 10-6 cm2/s at 450C and an activation energy of 8.9kcal/mol. The chronopotentiometric technique yielded corresponding figures of 9.2 x 10-6cm2/s and 7.4kcal/mol.
