Chronopotentiometric methods were used to determine the diffusion coefficients of W4+ and W5+ in equimolecular melts. It was found that the results, for temperatures ranging from 700 to 860C, could be described by:

W4+      D (cm2/s) = 1.138 x 10-2 exp[-52.9(kJ/mol)/RT]

W5+      D (cm2/s) = 1.521 x 10-2 exp[-56.4(kJ/mol)/RT]
