The dissolution of Cd metal in equimolecular KCl-NaCl melts which contained 5.06mol%NaF was studied. From the results, the diffusivity of Cd2+ in the molten salt was deduced to be equal to 2.9 x 10-5cm2/s at 690C and to 3.7 x 10-5cm2/s at 730C.
