Oscillopolarographic methods were used to study the diffusion of Cd2+ in the molten eutectic. The diffusivity, at temperatures ranging from 639 to 803K, could be described by:

log [D (cm2/s)] = 2.226 – 1858/T(K)

and the activation energy was equal to 35.8kJ/mol.
