The diffusivity of Ti was measured by using a chronogalvanometric method which involved monitoring the decrease in current density following the moment at which the potential corresponding to the peak on the polarization curve was applied to the cathode. The diffusivity in a mixture which contained 50mol%KCl was equal to 1.97 x 10-5cm2/s at 520C, and the activation energy was 58.1kJ/mol.
