The electrochemical reduction of Ti in the molten fluorides was studied by using linear sweep voltammetry, chronopotentiometry and chronoamperometry. On the basis of the voltammetric results, it was deduced that the diffusivity of TiIV in LiF-11.5NaF-42mol%KF at 500C was equal to 2.6 x 10-6cm2/s.
