The electrochemical reduction of Ti in the molten fluoride was studied by using linear sweep voltammetry, chronopotentiometry and chronoamperometry. For TiIV in liquid NaBF4 at 420C, the diffusivity was equal to 2.6 x 10-6cm2/s according to voltammetry, and equal to 1.3 x 10-6cm2/s according to chronopotentiometry.
