By using the serial sectioning technique, an investigation was made of the diffusion of 110Ag in compressed powder samples. The data (figure 34) could be described by an activation energy of 0.084eV. These diffusivities were larger than any others then known for a solid at such temperatures, and the activation energy was lower than those usually observed.
