The self-diffusion parameters of zinc into zeolites X and Y, with Si:Al ratios of 1.26, 1.87 and 2.62, were determined at low and high temperatures. The derived values of E (table 52) and ΔS were rationalized in terms of mechanisms in which water played an important part.
