The self-diffusivity of 54Mn in single icosahedral quasicrystals was studied by using a precision grinding technique at 870 to 1093K. It was found that the results could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 3.4 x 100 exp[-180.8(kJ/mol)/RT]
