The concentrations of anti-structure atoms and vacancies in ordered alloys having the B2-structure were investigated via measurements of the continuous-wave nuclear magnetic resonance intensities of Co and Ga. By using these defect-concentration data, the diffusion of Ga in the ordered alloy was deduced to be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 1.2 x 102 exp[-1.7(eV)/kT]
and to involve a nearest-neighbor vacancy jump mechanism.
