It was noted that the diffusion of 65Zn in the disordered A2 phase of 48at%Zn alloy did not exhibit an Arrhenius behavior. The data could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 4.6 x 10-3 exp[-82.1(kJ/mol)/RT]
at 508 to 692C, and by:
D (cm2/s) = 1.0 x 10-2 exp[-105.6(kJ/mol)/RT]
at 692 to 826C. It was suggested that the observed behavior could be attributed to the influence of divacancies.
