Equations were presented which described the temperature dependence of the diffusivity in the α and δ phases. These were used to analyze the Co diffusion anomaly. In the case of ferromagnetic Fe, it was deduced that the diffusivity could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 2.10 x 101 exp[-3.17(eV)/kT]
