Available data on the self-diffusion of Fe were analyzed. It was found that the results for ferromagnetic material could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 1.0 x 10-1 exp[-2.75(eV)/kT]

The activation energy was consistent with a low value of the vacancy migration enthalpy.
