The internal oxidation of alloys which contained between 0.069 and 0.274wt%Al was investigated at 1223 to 1373K in order to determine the diffusivity in the γ-phase and in the internal oxidation layer. The diffusion coefficient of O in the γ phase was determined by extrapolating to zero oxide volume fraction. The diffusivity could be described by:
