The diffusion of Sb in Fe was measured at 773 to 873K by using ion-beam methods. Diffusion couples, formed by ion-implanting Sb into Fe, were vacuum-annealed; with the composition versus depth being determined by means of ion-backscattering analysis. Theoretical analysis of the data was based upon coupled differential equations for the concentration profile and the precipitate radii. The diffusion data could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 8.0 x 101 exp[-32460/T]
