The diffusivity in the glass was measured at 575 to 645K by using Auger depth-profiling. A more rapid diffusion in Fe80B20, as compared with that in Fe82B18, was attributed to its lower density or metal packing-fraction value. The diffusivities could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 8.91 x 10-6 exp[-1.34(eV)/kT]
