Gas evolution permeation techniques were used to investigate the interaction of hydrogen with oxide dispersion strengthened reduced activation ferritic-martensitic Eurofer steel. The measurements were performed at 420 to 777K, for hydrogen driving pressures ranging from 2.5 x 103 to 1.0 x 105Pa. The associated diffusivity was described by:

D(m2/s) = 1.33 x 10-6exp[-30.4(kJ/mol)/RT]

The resultant trapping parameters were a density of 2.0 x 1025/m3 and a trapping energy of 44.9kJ/mol.
