The migration of H was studied at 260 to 1000K by using electrochemical and gas permeation techniques. It was found that the diffusion of H could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 9.2 x 10-3 exp[-9.9(kcal/mol)/RT]

The results for alloys with Cu could also be described by Arrhenius straight lines. The activation energy for H diffusion was greatest for 70at%Cu alloys.
