Flattening of corrugated surfaces was used to study Ni surface self-diffusion at 923 to 1452C. The results could be described by:

(100), [110]:     D (cm2/s) = 2.6 x 100 exp[-1.54(eV)/kT]

(110), [001]:     D (cm2/s) = 1.28 x 101 exp[-1.74(eV)/kT]

(110), [1¯10]:     D (cm2/s) = 2.39 x 101 exp[-1.85(eV)/kT]
