Nuclear magnetic resonance methods were used to measure H self-diffusivity in β-PdH0.70 at temperatures ranging from 296 to 413K. The results could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 9.0 x 10-4 exp[-0.228(eV)/kT]
The results were consistent with a random walk, nearest neighbor 0-0 diffusion process on octahedral interstitial sites.
