Gorsky-effect relaxation measurements were used to study the diffusion of H and D in 4N6-purity recrystallized Ta. It was found that the diffusivity of D at between 270 and 600K could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 4.9 x 10-4 exp[-0.163(eV)/kT]
The diffusivity of H within the same temperature range was described by:
D (cm2/s) = 4.4 x 10-4 exp[-0.140(eV)/kT]
